Lately i have been working on a haunted house project for AYC. I help from my club, Key Club, and i go there every week. The haunted house in previous years was hosted at the Veteran’s Building but this time it is at South Shore. I’ve been going since mid September and our set is looking really nice. We came up with a haunted beauty salon since this year it is a mall theme. Other scenes people are making are: Safeway, Disney Store, BabysRUs, antique store, and ,any more.
So for our scene we have blood splattered walls with pictures hanging . We got a lot of artists from our club to come so the artwork looks really nice (nice meaning it looks bad and scary). We requested for black lights to be installed so everything will look all eerie like. Wires also got set up so we hung a bunch of wigs and dolls. We have this really creepy face and we put a blonde wig on it. very nice. The first day they run is actually today. It started at 6:30 and i really wanted to go. I couldn’t go because i got sick yesterday. Today i feel better but still very sick. I felt miserable today so i went home haha..
Well you guys should go and visit it. Everyone did a nice job so it looks awesome. It runs from this weekend and next Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Too bad it’s not on Halloween though since it is a Monday night. I think the earliest they start is 2:30 in the afternoon, which is kinda weird. Too bright out for haunting i think.
